i was just curious about when other parents beg...

i was just curious about when other parents began to give their kids leafy salad vegies? ie: lettuces, rocket, fresh herbs (uncooked) etc and they actually ate it and didnt choke? we have salad of some sort on the table alot of nights (DH LOVES his salads) but havnt really offered it to our DD whos 3 in nov as were afraid she might choke on the leaves.. she eats everything else no probs so i dont know why i worry about it :) our kids have whatever we are, everything from baby octopus to spag bol lol (it is funny to watch a toddler try to figure out how to eat an octopus!!)
